Short Term Rentals

Here at Aberdeen Mills, we love to host guests in our short term rental units!

At this time we have a glamping experience by staying in our Shepherd’s Hut. The hut sits right next to the Conewago Creek and has great views of the water, pasture and woods. It has heat and a/c, potable water, hot outdoor shower and portable toilet. Guests have use of a gas grill and fire pit with seating outdoors. Inside the hut guests will enjoy a comfortable queen size bed, seating, Kuerig, and desk area for working, games or eating. For an added fee, a twin floor mattress can be added for a child, which will fold up when not in use. We provide: biodegradable soaps, towels and linens! So sit back in a chair by the fire pit or swing in the hammock with a good book while listening to the creek and the song birds. This is the life!

Our second rental is currently occupied by us while we do major renovations on the main house. We are hoping to be able to rent Ye Olde Distillery again by the beginning of summer 2025. Please stay tuned for updates!

Check out some of the old milling equipment at the mill! A fanning mill was one of the earliest pieces of farming machinery. It was used to clean seeds and grain by cranking a handle which operated a fan to blow away the chaff.
